Mighty Mahesh's Okkadu is making news in business circles from the day one of announcement. The latest news is Okkadu is sold for 2.1 crores for Ceded and for 1.2 crores for Vizag area. This shows the craze Mahesh has in trade.

Mahesh Babu is currently working in RK banner(K Raghavendra Rao) under the direction of Shobhan, which is shooting currently in a "YOUTH JUNCTION" set erected in Padmalaya Studios. Arti Agarwal is heroine in this movie. This movie is expected to release in July or August 2002.

Mahesh Babu's OKKADU under SumanthArts(M S Raju) banner in the direction of GunaSekhar has started it's shooting on March 14th. Bhumika Chawla is heroine in this movie. This movie shooting is going on in full swing. Shooted a 14 day chase scene(in rain) in forests near Vizag. This chase is supposed to be one of many highlights of the movie. They erected a set worth of Rs 1.25 crores. Highest for any set in a telugu movie.

Director Jayanth is planning a movie with Mahesh in his own production, which is going to start it's shooting on Dasara 2002. It's going to release as 2003 Summer attraction.
